Change Team: 

 

There are several high potential Class of 2026 student athletes planning to play high level NEPSAC basketball in the upcoming winter season. Here are profiles on some of those players:

 

Johny Bol Akot (2026) 7’0 forward The MacDuffie (MA) - Big-time prospect who has the tools to be the best prospect in the class of 2026. Has great touch, and can score from all three levels. Has great size with a high motor and an improving skill set. Johnny is a worker and has improved drastically. Video highlights

 

Miguel Alves (2026) 6’7 forward CATS Academy- Boston (MA) - New to the game having arrived from Brazil this spring but he has already seen massive improvement.  He is a quality shooter from mid-range and three.  Has great size with a high motor and an improving skill set.

 

Zach Baum (2026) 6’6 forward Noble & Greenough School (MA) - A dynamic forward who looks to run the floor and puts constant pressure on the offensive and defensive rim - will look to contribute right away. Plays AAU with ASA Select.  

 

Desmond Bellot Jr. (2026) 6’3 guard CATS Academy- Boston (MA) - Regarded as one of the Top players in New England in 2026 class.  A combo guard who is an outstanding all-around knockdown shooter who can score from all levels and create his own space as well as an excellent playmaker.  SENE Conference All-First Team as an 8th grader.  High-Major potential. Plays AAU with Expressions Elite.


Bryce Bennett (2026)  6'4 guard South Kent School (CT) - Bennett has typical NYC toughness on both sides of the ball. Constantly in attack mode attacking the paint for scoring drives and getting open looks for teammates. Must work on changing pace and developing a reliable outside shot but has a chance to be a special player coming through South Kent’s development system. Plays AAU for Black Ops Cadets. Raul Cruz (2027) 6’0” guard Noble & Greenough School (MA) - An all-around good guard who has a tremendously high basketball I.Q. and is tenacious on defense - will look to contribute right away. Plays AAU with Expressions.

 

AJ Dybantsa (2026) 6’8 guard St. Sebastian's School (MA) - Hailing from Brockton, MA, Dybanta is ranked nationally as one of top 9th graders in the country.  AJ has the ability to score from all three levels and can create his own space.  Plays the game with incredible skill and competitiveness, but also is a team-first, unselfish player.  ISL All-League as an 8th grader.  Plays AAU with Expressions Elite. Alex Egbuono (2026) guard Lawrence Academy (MA) - Very mature young player who understands those around him.  Good passer and creator for others.  Very good shooter and can put up numbers as well.  Not a flashy or noticeable athlete yet, but game will rise to elite levels as he matures and develops physically.  Plays AAU with BABC

 

Trokon Harris (2026) 6'0 guard Brooks School (MA) - Harris is just scratching the surface of his high potential. He is tough on the defensive side of the ball and attacks downhill offensively to get into the paint to score or create for others. His incredible wing span allows him to guard any position on the perimeter and he does not back down from a challenge. He has range on his 3-point shot to keep defenses honest. Trokon plays AAU for BABC. 

 

Samuel Kim 6'4 forward Groton School (MA) - Kim is an 8th grader who will be playing up this year at Groton. He already has a nice touch around the rim and is improving his range away from the basket, He is a high motor kid who is looking to make a big impact within the rotation. Sam play AAU for BABC

 

Windston Legentus (2026) 5'10 150 lbs point guard Brimmer and May (MA) from Raynham, MA.  High level scoring guard that can do it from beyond the 3 point line.  Has great ability to create his own shot from any place on the court.  Reclassing from Bridgewater-Rayham

 

Coley Mark (2026) 6’9 wing Noble & Greenough School (MA) - A very good shooter with very deep range - will look to contribute right away. Plays AAU with Expressions.

 

Kyle Cameron Martin (2026) 6'2 guard Boston Trinity Academy (MA) - Martin's combination of sharp ball handling skills and an exceptionally quick and high shot release make him an exceptionally dangerous midrange scorer. He is also a solid outside shooter and can finish around the basket. Kyle is a long 6'2" and in addition to his offensive versatility can match up well on defense with a range of opponents. He also has solid court vision and creates opportunities for his teammates. As Kyle continues to become stronger with age you can expect his deep range shooting and defensive capabilities to improve accordingly. Video highlights
 

Nelson Mboudjika (2026) 6’9 forward CATS Academy- Boston (MA) – Has great size, a high motor and an improving skill set. Nelson is a worker and has improved drastically since arriving from Cameroon in at the beginning of the school year.  Will be counted on to carry heavy minutes with the very young and talented CATS Academy squad. 

 

Preston Merrick (2026) 6'5 guard The Hotchkiss School (CT) - Preston is a high level athlete and slasher. Preston is amazing at getting downhill and has the ability to finish above the rim. Preston also does a great job of breaking down defenders in the half court with limited dribbles. Preston utilizes his length and athleticism on the perimeter to make opposing offensive players uncomfortable. Plays AAU with New Heights (2025)  RTB profile

 


Evan Mitchner Jr (2026) 6’2 point guard Rocky Hill Country Day School (RI) - Mitchner is underrated in the class of 2026 and has a very high ceiling . Evan has a great feel for the game and a basketball IQ beyond his years. He is able to score on all three levels, with great footwork around the rim and able to rise up and score over smaller guards. Evan plays with great pace and patience on offense as well as being a motivated defender willing to guard the opponents best player. Evan plays aau for Expressions Elite.

 

Connor Nairus (2026) 6'6 forward St Marks School (MA) - Nairus' size, skill, and motor make him an elite big man. He continues to get better and will keep growing as well, making his best basketball still ahead of him. Connor's father was a standout player at Holy Cross and the Concord, MA native also plays AAU for Middlesex Magic. 

 

Jack Nally (2026) 6’4 wing Greens Farms Academy (CT) - Jack is a long, athletic wing that can shoot from beyond the arc and attack the basket from multiple angles. He competes on both ends of the floor and never backs down from a challenge. As Jack continues to become stronger with age his defensive toughness will only improve. Plays AAU for CT Energy. Darrell Nderitu (2026) 6’7 forward CATS Academy- Boston (MA) - He is a quality shooter from mid-range and three with great size and an improving skill set.  He has the ability to impact games with his shooting ability and can be effective on the post. Plays AAU with Expressions Elite. 

 

Patrick Otey (2026) 6’3 guard CATS Academy- Boston (MA) - Regarded as one of the Top players in New England in 2027 class.  A tough shot-making guard who can score from all levels. He can create his own shot and shoots it well out to the 3.  He is also a fierce competitor with incredible work ethic. High-Major potential. Plays AAU with Expressions Elite.

 

Jackson Powell (2026) 6'5 forward The Hotchkiss School (CT) - Jackson is a long forward that has an incredible motor. Jackson competes on both ends of the floor and is also a high level rebounder. Jackson is a slasher and is a good finisher around the basket. Plays AAU with Cap City.

 

Jaxson Terry (2026) 6’3 wing Lawrence Academy (MA) - Serious potential on this young player. Shows the signs to have all of the offensive and defensive skills to be a significant contributor on both sides of the ball.  Creative and capable scorer with the ball in his hands.  Very good in the open court and shows signs of emerging explosiveness for a young player.  Still a lot of physical growth ahead. 

 

Sam Thompson (2026) forward Holderness School (NH)  - Thompson will reclass after spending his first year at Marblehead High(MA). He plays really hard and has good size. He plays AAU for NSSA.

 

Camron Thornton (2027)  6'1 guard Brimmer & May (MA) from Lynn MA - Thornton can stretch the floor with his shooting and can score in bunches. He can play 1-4 on defense.  He has a ton of potential. 


Shiloh Wilchcombe (2026) 5’8 point guard Redemption Christian Academy (NY) - Shiloh a true freshman and a long fluid point guard is showing early flashes of being an elite two way player. New to the game, only two years in but possesses a tremendous feel for the game, high IQ pass first point guard. Three level scorer and an elite defender that plays passing lanes well. Given his age and the years ahead, will definitely be one to keep an eye out for. Video highlights 

 

Marcos Wiscovitch-Frontera (2026) 6'5 guard Millbrook School (NY) - Wiscovitch-Frontera  is a 6’5”, size 15-shoe freshman who just turned fifteen last month. Hailing from Puerto Rico, the Millbrook coaching staff has big expectations for Marcos during his four year career in the NEPSAC. A guard who is continuing to physically grow, Marcos hopes to develop his offensive package against bigger, stronger, and quicker competition. He will compete for some minutes on an extremely deep Mustang team this year.

 

Imahri Wooten (2026) 6'4 guard Redemption Christian Academy (NY) - Offered by University of Albany and IUPUI as a freshman. Wooten is a excellent shooter who knocks down open shots efficiently. He also is creative on offense without wasting too many dribbles or playing out of control. He is a very high energy player that is a tenacious defender. He is also a very good rebounder at 6'4. 4.0 gpa

 

Tristan Yepdo (2026) 6'0 guard Brooks School (MA) - Yepdo is a heady young point guard with a great mind for the game. He is a willing and able passer and playmaker who can also create his own shot. His range extends well beyond the 3-point line and is poised to be a consistent knockdown shooter in the coming years. Tristan is also a tough defender and a consummate worker with a high ceiling. He plays AAU for The House We Built.


Nehemiah Young (2026)  6'0 guard South Kent School (CT) - Nehemiah Young 6’ 2026 Combo. Originally from FL. Competes with a high level of toughness and competitive spirit. Skilled with the ball and is a 3pt shooting threat every time he catches the ball. Son of Charlton “CY” Young, Associate Head Coach at Missouri.
